This video stream is coming live from a camera mounted outside the International Space Sation, pointed almost straight down at the Earth. The source for this stream used to be a different set of cameras called the HDEV (High Defintion Experimental Video). Unfortunately the HDEV has since been retired. This view is now a single camera called the EHDC (External High Definition Camera). NASA refers to this as a temporary feed so we don't know how long it will last, or what might replace it if it's discontinued. In the meantime it's showing some beautiful views.
